The heated wind speed and direction sensor is a high-precision wind monitoring device specially developed for complex and harsh working conditions. It accurately collects and monitors ambient wind speed and wind direction data, and is widely applicable to diverse scenarios including wind power generation, meteorological observation, lifting machinery, aerial cableways, construction engineering, mountain outdoor monitoring, etc. It serves as core equipment for industrial and scientific wind data acquisition. Adopting mature sensing technology and stringent industrial manufacturing standards, the heated wind speed & direction sensor integrates high precision, superior stability and outstanding weather resistance, perfectly meeting the demand of long-term uninterrupted monitoring under all kinds of extreme climates.
The heated wind speed and direction sensor features an integrated all-aluminum metal structure with compact, delicate appearance and robust framework, featuring outstanding shock resistance, vibration resistance, sand and dust resistance, and seawater corrosion resistance. Its core rotating blades are treated with reinforced craftsmanship to avoid deformation under high wind speeds, delivering zero linear measurement deviation and authentic, accurate data readings. In addition, the heated wind speed & direction sensor operates with 100% maintenance-free performance, greatly cutting later operation and maintenance costs, making it ideal for long-term unattended outdoor monitoring. The whole device is certified under the ISO9001/2000 quality management system and holds multiple internationally authoritative certifications including UL, CSA and CE, with an IP66 ingress protection rating. It complies with global safety and quality standards for all high-end industrial monitoring applications.

In terms of core performance and technical design, the heated wind speed and direction sensor adopts non-contact magnetic sensing measurement principle, eliminating abrasion errors inherent to traditional contact measurement. It delivers high data acquisition precision, excellent repeatability and extreme reliability. The device supports wide voltage power supply of 18~36 V DC, perfectly matching universal industrial power supply systems with strong compatibility. It boasts superior measurement performance: wind speed measuring range covers 0~50 m/s with an ultra-low starting wind speed ≤0.5 m/s to capture faint wind signals. Its measurement accuracy reaches ±0.5 m/s (for wind speed ≤30 m/s), with full-scale error limited to only 3% FS under high wind conditions and a high resolution of 0.1 m/s, leading the industry in data accuracy.
To cope with severe weather such as low temperature, frost and freezing rain, the heated wind speed and direction sensor is equipped with an intelligent automatic heating system fitted with a 24 V DC, 120 W high-efficiency heating module. The heating function automatically activates at 6℃±2℃ and shuts down at 60℃±5℃ to efficiently melt frost and ice, preventing monitoring failure caused by icing in low-temperature environments and guaranteeing stable operation in frigid and high-humidity areas. Furthermore, it is equipped with multi-stage lightning and surge protection plus 15 KV electrostatic protection, complying with the high-frequency electromagnetic interference protection standard ENV 50140 Part 3 to resist interference from complex industrial electromagnetic surroundings. The unique circuit fault-tolerant design prevents equipment damage resulting from incorrect wiring, significantly improving operational safety and service life.
The heated wind speed and direction sensor works reliably across an ultra-wide temperature range of -40℃ ~ +70℃ and full humidity scope of 0~100%, with wind resistance strength ≥60 m/s. It withstands extreme operating environments such as deserts, high mountains, coastal marine areas, high-altitude regions, rain, snow, frost and ice. It supports multiple standard signal outputs: 4~20 mA, 0~20 mA, 0~5 V and 0~10 V, enabling seamless connection with various industrial control systems and monitoring platforms. Featuring easy installation and commissioning, it is the optimal choice for regular wind monitoring in harsh environments.
